Mika Piirainen's collection is a tribute to the work of Maija Isola, Marimekko's legendary print designer. The collection offers imaginative, easy-to-wear clothing for all ages, from babies to grand old ladies.

The highlight of the collection is Rosetta, a variation on Maija Isola's Krysanteemi design from 1959. Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's film Vertigo, Piirainen has coloured this naturalistic floral print very dramatic. Among the collection's patterns are also Trio (Maija and Kristina Isola, 1983), which brings to mind a backgammon board or the Northern Lights, and the bubbly Vissy (Maija Isola, 1969), which adds a playful touch to the collection.
